Sounds that the Gray make, the Humans, guns going off, explosions, are all very well done and realistic. The sound in The Council Wars is very similar to the first game, although there are new sounds such as sounds coming from creatures some new music themes, and other interesting sounds that wernt in the first game. The Council Wars graphics are one of the best for that time period for Real-Time Strategie games. The graphics in this game are a bit better than the first Dark Colony game, levels are a bit darker and makes it feel like a great expeirence. If you havn't played the first one for some odd reason then it will take time getting used to it, but for Dark Colony players who have played it before, it will be pretty easy but challenging and there are a few hard missions. The gameplay in The Council Wars is much the same as the first one, pretty much no changes at all. It extends the story-line, improves the graphics, and adds new creatures and maps. Though it's only a Single-Player game and has no Multi-Player features like the first Dark Colony game haves, It is worth playing if you enjoyed the first Dark Colony game.
